Xianyang, Yongchun Co., Fujian Fluorite!
A selection of fluorite specimens from a recent find at the Xiayang Mine (the same locality notable for the purple tanzanite-colored fluorites). I purchased a large quantity of these fluorites, the bulk were wholesale grade, but these were a few that I picked out for one reason or another. The color of pieces from this group are a somewhat saturated green, and the best have an intense glow caused by cyan blue, yellow, and green zoning, combing to form a color I haven't really seen from anywhere else.
With all of these, lighting is an important factor-- the color is most saturated under indirect sunlight or equivalent lighting, and the pieces are shown as they would appear sitting on a white piece of paper next to a window in indirect sunlight. If you look at them under incandescent lighting however, you will be very underwhelmed.....
