A very rich sample of hubeite on quartz, overgrown by apophyllite. In most places all you see is translucent apophyllite, colored brown by the underlying hubeite, though you can see the hubeite itself around the edges.  Hubeite is only known from this locality.

So by the standards of the species, this things is hideous.  It isn't terminated, just a a partial prism on matrix.  But, it is an incredibly rare sample of beryl from a pegmatite in the Midwestern United States.  If you are a collector of Midwestern American minerals or of beryls (and don't always care so much about aesthetics) then this is something you would have a hard time finding another example of....
